In an email exchange on the Lightning-dev mailing list, Max Dignan posed a question to Antoine Riard regarding whether PSBT (BIP 174) would be a good solution for transaction collaboration between two peers. Antoine responded that while PSBT is a great protocol for wallet interoperability, it may be a bit too heavy for this specific use case.
