During the Montreal Scaling Bitcoin workshop, Gavin discussed with someone about XT's willingness to adapt to make things easier. However, if Core ships CLTV as it is, then XT will have to adopt it due to the nature of a consensus system. Despite this, there are concerns about the rollout strategy and nobody has answered the question of why it is being done in this particular way, considering the downsides associated with it.
