Summary:

Mike Hearn, a developer of Bitcoin, announced the release of version 0.12 of bitcoinj library on October 3, 2014. The library is considered one of the most popular Bitcoin libraries and is used by several Android wallets, desktop wallets, blockchain.info, Circle, biteasy, CryptoCorp, Lighthouse, BlueMatt’s relay network, bitpos, countless alt coin wallets, and academic research projects. Wladimir congratulated Mike on the release.
