In a discussion on 21/10/13 at 08:52, Jean-Paul Kogelman suggested organizing BIPs into subdirectories based on their status- Accepted, Active, Draft, Deferred, Final, Rejected, Replaced, or Withdrawn. Martin then asked if the process could be done via IETF, which has over 40 years of experience and 7000+ RFCs.
