The submitpackage RPC is currently available on regtest in the current core release. However, there has been no recent discussion about plans or a timeline for deploying it on mainnet in the next release. The submitpackage RPC would be helpful in addressing current and future issues with mempool purge. Tom is seeking information on this matter.
