The Bitcoin project is looking for volunteers to help improve translations in multiple languages for the upcoming release of Bitcoin Core 0.9.2. Native non-English speakers are encouraged to join Transifex, a platform for collaborative translation, to clean up and refine the translations. These translations will not only be used for Bitcoin, but also for Litecoin. Volunteers can try out the nightly builds of Bitcoin Core as it progresses towards the 0.9.2 release, although it is advised not to use these builds for their production wallet. Additionally, volunteers should join the Translator mailing list to stay updated on when translations are needed for Bitcoin. They will also receive notifications if other Bitcoin Project materials in Transifex require translations, such as bitcoin.org.Even individuals who do not speak other languages can still contribute by directing others who are fluent in different languages to the translation page. This way, they can help ensure that the translations are accurate and comprehensive. The feature freeze for Bitcoin Core 0.9.2 is set for May 13th, 2014, so now is the perfect time for interested volunteers to get involved and make a difference in improving the language support for Bitcoin and Litecoin.
