In a discussion on the Bitcoin-development mailing list, Chris Double shared that he uses zmq (ZeroMQ) for queuing outside of bitcoind to receive notifications. Wladimir suggested integrating zmq directly into bitcoind through a pull request on Github. He encouraged Chris to test it out and provide feedback. Other members of the thread agreed with Chris's approach of queuing outside of bitcoind. The thread also included an advertisement for AppDynamics Lite, a free troubleshooting tool for Java/.NET code.
