In an email exchange on February 5th, 2012, Mike Hearn suggested adding Bitcoin Wallet to the discussion. The wallet is a standalone application for Android devices with a primary focus on ease of use and independence from central network components. It supports initiating transactions through QR code, Bitcoin URIs, or near-field communication (NFC). Additionally, it has a currency conversion calculator. Bitcoin Wallet can be found on the Google Play Store and the project can be accessed through Google Code.
