Alicexbt has raised concerns regarding BGP hijacking attacks on bitcoin nodes in an email to the Bitcoin Developers mailing list. They provided links to incidents of BGP hijacking attacks on Twitter and Tor network, and highlighted the vulnerability of bitcoin nodes to such attacks. Alicexbt suggested using RPKI ROA and BGP prefix length to prevent such attacks, but tests run on the first 10 IP addresses returned in `getnodeaddresses` for Bitcoin Core showed vulnerable results. In response, Elias recommended research articles by Maria Apostolaki et al., Muoi Tran et al., and related works that delve into routing attacks. Alicexbt expressed interest in writing a detailed blog post or research article on the subject and requested technical feedback and links to past discussions with solutions.
