On the bitcoin-dev mailing list, Christian Decker has proposed a new sighash flag, `SIGHASH_NOINPUT`, which would remove the commitment to the previous transaction input. Gregory Maxwell agrees with the proposal but suggests that the name of the flag should be changed to something like "SIGHASH_REPLAY_VULNERABLE" or "SIGHASH_WEAK_REPLAYABLE". Rusty Russell supports the naming suggestion as well, proposing "REUSE_VULNERABLE" since the word "VULNERABLE" should scare people away.
