In an email exchange on January 4, 2015, Ross Nicoll thanked someone for presenting a solution as code. He mentioned that he would try Peter's patch for testnet the following day, as it sounded like it would fix the issue for his use case. Although he admitted to not reading the code thoroughly, he expressed appreciation for the effective communication method and wished more people would use it.
