On 12/08/2015, Mark Friedenbach suggested that the last transaction in a block is a better place for a hash than the generation transaction. This method saves an average of half of the hashes in the Merkle tree. The hash should be on the output side of the transaction to avoid crowding out other important hashes in the future. No information was provided about the color of a bikeshed. The email includes two non-text attachments, including a PGP key and a digital signature.
