Pieter Wuille suggested a way to hide embedded bitcoin address from the users while retrieving it when first connecting and storing it with the URI in an address book. Similar to SSH, it could warn the user if the key changes, but it may be ignored by most users. However, to ignore it, one needs to manually go in and remove it from the URI.
