In an email conversation on August 25th, 2011, Pieter Wuille mentioned a Bitcoin output script that was 13 bytes plus six times twenty bytes, which is much more efficient than the actual Bitcoin output script that is 54 bytes plus six times twenty bytes. The Bitcoin output script is used to send transactions to multiple recipients or specify conditions for spending the transaction output. Wuille commented that the efficiency of the script was impressive considering it involved six keys and complicated rules.
