Luke-Jr sent a patch to adapt the one line needed for supporting boost filesystem version 3 which is default in Boost 1.46+ but required for 1.48+. He also tested it with Boost 1.41.0 to verify that it works on older versions too. Jeff Garzik responded by saying that the change appears to be technically correct, but it is disappointing to have #ifdefs in the code.
