Aymeric Vitte asked a question about standard and non-standard transactions without reading the core code. He mentioned an example of modifying multisig 2 of 3. ZmnSCPxj replied to the email explaining that different versions may consider different output scripts as standard, but post-SegWit rule is to wrap it in a P2SH or P2WSH if not P2PKH or P2WPKH. He said that P2PKH, P2WPKH, P2SH, and P2WSH are likely to remain supported in the mid-future. Lightning uses P2WSH for its scripts. Any m-of-n signing scheme in Bitcoin is P2SH or P2WSH.
